Did not expect such big mountains in Alabama. We recommend going in early spring before the trees are fully leafed so you can see more views. Full review by kkaarrll

We traveled this road going to and leaving Cheaha State Park. It was peaceful, lots of green space and places you could pull off to view the valley. Definitely recommend. Full review by Sue L

Do you drive yourself around the area and if so is there a trail to follow
A:
It is a two lane paved road. You drive yourself. They have area maps you can stop and pick up and there are signs marking places as well as the roads.
